The St. Martin's Climate Action Team brings members of our congregation together to understand, act on, and pray about the very real challenge of climate change.

St. Martin’s is committed to community. Jesus’ call to “love thy neighbor” is realized with our neighbors in Chestnut Hill, our regional neighbors in Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley, and our national and international community.

The work of the Guatemala Companion Parish Committee involves maintaining the relationship between St. Martin’s and the priests and parishioners in our three Guatemalan companion parishes.

The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the stranger as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

St. James School notes the St. Martin’s connection to the school as a model for church relationships. Individuals from the parish volunteer and contribute needed funding on a reliable basis and the commitment through the covenant creates a sense of stability and structure on both sides.

Under God is St. Martin’s ongoing effort of “works of love” prompted by the Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe v. Wade, eliminating the federal constitutional right to abortion in the United States.
