CALL FOR ARTISTS: Stations of the Cross

The Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, Philadelphia is looking for Artists & Creators to help us create a series of art works to form a Stations of the Cross Exhibition for Lent 2023.
Extended Deadline: Submissions are welcome through March 30, 2023.
An honorarium or the most engaging work will be made in three categories: professional ($300), amateur ($200), children/youth ($100).
Artwork is welcome from amateurs and professionals, children and adults! Artwork from children and youth is most encouraged.
Artists should create works which respond to the title and/or text of the fourteen Stations of the Cross Titles & Texts which can be accessed here.
Artists can submit work for one station, or multiple works for multiple stations. Any form of art is accepted, from photography, to small sculpture, folk art to fine art, and all in between! Artworks should be no larger than 24 x 24 inches in area or footprint. Artworks will likely be displayed on easels, and do not have to be framed, though you may if you wish. Sculptures will be displayed on plinths or tables.
Artworks will be displayed in the Sanctuary throughout Lent & Easter and will be central to enhancing worship and St. Martin's sanctuary.
St. Martin's reserves the right to not display works we deem to be in appropriate for its spaces/community.
