St. Martin's Feast Day

St. Martin of Tours is our patron saint. Each year his feast is officially observed on November 11. We celebrate his Feast Day on the nearest Sunday.
In 2020, we will celebrate on Sunday, November 15.
In addition to celebrations during worship, we observe St. Martin's Day with the ingathering of our Annual Giving and Stewardship pledges for the coming year. Scroll down to learn more about St. Martin and our parish traditions.

We are St. Martin's! Our 2021 Stewardship and Annual Giving campaign is now live. Financial stewardship is an important component of a balanced spiritual life. Returning to God that which God has given us is a tangible way to express and grow our faith. Worship and ministry are not suspended, they've just mostly moved online! Lyrics by the Rt. Rev. Frank Griswold, set to the tune Puer Nobis.St. Martin's Hymn
| Speaker: Dr. Lyn H. Loewi
Did you know that we've got our very own version of a hymn about St. Martin of Tours? Every year we sing this song on St. Martin's Day. The lyrics were written by the Rt. Rev. Frank Griswold when he was the Rector of Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields. The hymn tells the full tale of St. Martin of Tours' encounter with a beggar one day along the roadside - the encounter fabled to have turned his path toward Christ.
