Women Connecting Fall 2022

Women Connecting is Evolving, And we need your help!
Women Connecting began in 2010 as an idea that grew out of the writings of Parker Palmer. Rev. Harriet Kollin, then Assistant Rector, and several women from the congregation began offering a Saturday morning program for women. Through readings, silence, prayer and small group sharing, Women Connecting provided a way for women to engage in community and explore spiritual themes that reflected the seasons of the liturgical calendar.
Over the years, Women Connecting grew into a valued offering of St. Martin's, drawing women from both the congregation and the surrounding community. For many women it provided a way into community and the content and discussions became a way of exploring ourselves in relation to each other and to God.
Following the pandemic and the changes here at St. Martin’s we are challenging ourselves to move Women Connecting in new directions. We would like to “change it up” and we would value input from as many women at St. Martin’s as possible. We would like to hear from those of you who have participated in the past, and those who have never been to one of our gatherings.
To that end, we are hosting a number of short (1/2 hour) gatherings to share some of our ideas with you and listen to your ideas of what you would like to be a part of. We hope to launch our new program in January, 2023.
The dates for these gatherings follow: (no need to register, just come.)
