Refugee Resettlement Winter Clothing Drive Update: Target Gift Cards for Asylum Seekers Still Needed
Recently, we appealed to you for new and gently used winter coats and other cold-weather apparel for asylum seekers from Texas. We are delighted to announce that we have dozens of bags filled with your generous donations.
Please donate Target gift cards, which can be distributed to needy asylum seekers. Target stores are located throughout the country—wherever asylum seekers ultimately locate—and can be used for diapers, underwear, toiletries, and other necessities. If you wish to donate, please deposit your gift cards in envelopes addressed to St. Martin’s Asylum Seekers Team, in care of Emily Walker, or drop it in her mailbox at St. Martin’s.
