Pet Blessings for St. Francis Day

Sunday, October 4, 2020, 12:00 PM
Outdoors on the front lawn of St. Martin's church, along Willow Grove Avenue
Did you get a "Pandemic Pup" this year? This St. Francis Day is a great time to have them blessed!
Join in as we offer thanksgiving for the pets who have brought us love and comfort through the pandemic this year, and every day. We'll offer a general thanksgiving and blessings upon all pets. All species welcome!
Please attend wearing masks and observe social distancing from people outside your household.
"Most high, omnipotent, good Lord, grant your people grace to renounce gladly the vanities of this world; that, following the way of blessed Francis, we may for love of you delight in your whole creation with perfectness of joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen."
~ Collect appointed for use on the Feast of Francis of Assisi, Friar, 1226, October 4, Lesser Feasts & Fasts
