Join Refugee Resettlement Ministry to Welcome new Afghan Neighbors

St. Martin's Refugee Resettlement Ministry (RRM) is partnering with HIAS Pennsylvania and Nationalities Service Center to provide support to Afghan Refugees arriving in Philadelphia.

Welcome Letters

Take a few moments to write a personal note of welcome, hope, and encouragement. Letters in Dari, Farsi, or Pashto are encouraged, but letters in English are welcome. Please refrain from sharing personal contact information.

Household Goods Collection at St. Martin's

Each Friday, 8:45 - 9:15 a.m., starting September 17th

Starting September 17th , RRM will collect household goods on Friday mornings 8:45-9:15 and ferry them to the HIAS collection center at the Main Line Reform Temple in Wynnewood. See below for guidelines on donations.

You can also purchase items in HIAS PA's Target Registry.

Refugee Resettlement Ministry

Launched in 2016, the Refugee Resettlement Ministry at St. Martin’s was created out of concern by several members of the parish about the global refugee crisis, particularly coming out of Syria. St. Martin’s Refugee Resettlement Ministry joins with leaders of faith communities, secular organizations, and citizens in the Philadelphia area to resettle refugees in a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
