This year we will offer two short extras to the usual Sunday format. Please make careful note of the times, as both offerings are not at our usual education time.


Oct. 18, Feb., Apr. Parenting: A Sacred Task
Parents are invited to gather together for lunch and discussion as we delve into topics facing all families. Guided by various presenters, we will focus on nurturing your child’s spirituality; sexuality; and money and your child: raising generous children. This is the beginning of what we hope will become an ongoing group. Child care and activities for children, along with lunch, will be provided. This seminar series will have three sessions—one in October, February, and April—and will meet from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.

Nov. 1 - 22 Praying Our Goodbyes
Loss of any kind—a loved one, a job, health—forces us to face deep questions of meaning in our life and often to revisit our understanding of God. For four Sunday afternoons, from 1 to 2:30 pm, we will gather for mutual support and prayer, using the book Praying Our Goodbyes as a companion. This group will be facilitated by the Reverend Phillip Bennett and the Reverend Beth Hixon.
