PREPARATION FOR HOLY BAPTISM

St Martin’s celebrates the Sacrament of Holy Baptism on the following occasions: the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord, the Great Vigil of Easter, the Second Sunday of Easter, Pentecost, and All Saints Sunday, as well as when the Bishop visits. Preparation for the parents and godparents of children being baptized usually takes place the two preceding Saturdays to the baptism; preparation for adults and teens desiring to be baptized is arranged on an individual basis. If you or a member of your family desires to be baptized, please speak to a member of the clergy or contact the church office.
