SUNDAY SHORT COURSE

This year we will offer a short lecture/discussion class on Sunday mornings from 10 to 11 a.m. The course is limited to fifteen participants. Some preparation outside of class may be expected. Registration is
necessary.

Jan. 13 - Feb. 3 The Life of Meaning: Reflections on Faith, Doubt, and
Repairing the World
Culled from contributors to PBS’s Religion and Ethics NewsWeekly, the book with this same title contains a rich
survey of extraordinary people speaking candidly about their search for meaning in their own personal lives, their
experience of God, and their struggles with faith, doubt, and justice. In this Sunday short course, we will focus on a handful of the essays as a jumping off point to engage in discussion around the issues presented in the essays.
Barbara Dundon and Charlie Day will facilitate the discussion. Copies of the essays will be made available to
participants, although you may want to purchase the book for your own reading pleasure.
